Her Story (Expertise)
Sheri is a Registered Dietitian and Trainer specializing in weight loss and disease management. She is a former middle school science teacher whose desire to focus on nutrition started while raising her two children. She earned her Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH) and RD credential from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009. By combining her love of teaching with her passion for healthful living Sheri seeks to help people understand the connection between the foods they eat and the way they feel.
Sheri holds a Level 1 certificate of adult weight management as well as a certificate in pediatric weight management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has experience in cardiac rehabilitation and spent time interning at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center.
