Jessica is a yoga teacher, teacher trainer, and mentor. She graduated summa cum laude in Education from East Carolina University. Jessica discovered yoga during college as a way to heal from back pain. Combining slow, intentional movement with breath work helped her gain mental clarity and physical strength. After graduating college, Jessica moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she completed her 200 hour teacher training with CorePower Yoga and became a full time yoga instructor. She has taught many coaches and athletes including the University of Utah’s basketball team and professional skiers. In addition to her 200 hour teacher training, she traveled to Island Yoga in Aruba to become a certified SUP yoga instructor. She now lives in North Carolina where she teaches classes, hosts workshops, and leads teacher trainings at CorePower Yoga. When not teaching or practicing yoga, Jessica can be found enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with her husband Daniel and their daughter Poppy, and reading books.
