A New Year, A New You!


The team at Peak Performance Fitness & Nutrition understands that weight loss can be difficult.  Research shows that individuals who are most successful with weight loss and weight loss maintenance have the following things in common:


·         Understand calorie needs and modify food intake

·         Increase physical activity

·         Weigh regularly

·         Keep a food journal

·         Work with fitness & nutrition professionals

·         Join/create social support groups

Teamwork is often the missing link for individuals who are struggling to create healthy lifestyle change and it is typically part of the most successful programs.  As a result, we have designed a program to help get you and others like you on the right track.  If you would like to become part of our team working toward the goal of creating healthy lifestyle change then we would love to meet you.

Our New Year, New You! program runs from January 11th through February 15th.  Every Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:00 pm you will meet with our dietitian to discuss healthy eating habits and to ask questions, share ideas and brainstorm solutions to common roadblocks.  In addition, you will also meet with our fitness trainers 3 times each week for exercise classes.

Each participant will receive tailored calorie guidelines, menus, recipes and fitness instruction, as well as be part of a private Facebook group where you can ask additional questions, share recipes, successes and struggles.

Registered Dietitian

Sheri Allen is a Registered Dietitian who works to help people understand the connection between the foods they eat and the way they feel. She brings extensive education and experience, including the Masters program at University of NC Chapel Hill and an internship at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center.
